A fire broke out in a residential area in Malabon City Wednesday afternoon.

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said the fire started at about 12:58 p.m. along Sitio Sais in Barangay Catmon.
The blaze immediately engulfed houses made of light materials in the area.
The fire already reached task forced bravo, the BFP said.
One person reportedly sustained minor injuries as he or she tried to go outside of a burning house.
Firefighters are still on the scene battling the blaze as of writing.
