CABANATUAN CITY, Nueva Ecija — The National Irrigation Administration (NIA) announced today a gradual increase in the water level at Pantabangan Dam this week, although it still falls short by 16.41 meters from its Operation Rule Curve (ORC) of 199.19 meters.

Its water level, recorded at 182.78 meters, is lower compared with the 190.25-meter level posted in the same period last year. Despite that, Engr. Rosalinda Bote of the NIA assured a sufficient water supply in all irrigated farmlands being serviced by the Upper Pampanga River Integrated Irrigation System (UPRIIS) in the coming wet crop season.
