You may look good but there may be times when you don’t feel good about yourself. Striking the balance between the two can be easy if you have an active lifestyle. But if you’re the type who likes to sit and binge watch every episode of your favorite Netflix shows, don’t worry as it’s never too late to move and get in shape.

Ask yourself: Do you want to be healthy or do you want to be more active? Getting started doesn’t have to be difficult if you can motivate yourself into working out. Results will not be immediate, but rest assured that you will reach it one step at a time. Your health and looking good can be your motivation, but there are times when a little push goes a long way in achieving long-term results.

Instagram follower @kloweyyyy asks: “Hi Jake! I get so inspired by your daily workout posts! I’m a young aspiring model and would like to start hitting the gym and be seriously fit! How do you stay focused and motivated? Please share your secret!!”

There is no secret formula to being fit. Consistency and dedication is the key. You have to find a routine that you will not get tired of. If you love attending group classes, then go ahead and try a variety of classes to find one that best suits your fitness level. If you want to customize your workout, then building your own program could more beneficial. It’s your body, so it’s your workout. Going solo might sound daunting but if you need a little help, then you should resort to a smartwatch like the Fitbit.

Fitbit pioneered the wearables category by being the first fashionable health and fitness tracker. Throughout the years, it became the leading global wearable brand and also became the largest social fitness network that made people more active and stay committed to their fitness goals.

Personally, I’ve been using Fitbit primarily because of the motivation I get when it comes to attaining my fitness goals. You don’t have to be an experienced athlete to use a fitness tracker. Everyone might have different goals, from losing weight to gaining strength, but what is certain is that we all want to be the best version of ourselves by improving our health and fitness level.

The Fitbit Ionic (P15,690) is what you have been waiting for in a smartwatch. You get the same benefits of having the best health and fitness first platform from Fitbit, but with another level of personalization and deeper insights for your health. On top of that, you get smart features, like contactless payment, on-board music, smart notifications, and a variety of popular apps and select clock faces that suit you.

Ionic has everything you need in one device. It is versatile in that you can use it as your personal trainer with its included Fitbit Coach for everyday workouts. Use it on your next night jog as a running companion. If you’re more into swimming, then you’re in luck as it’s packed with a new swim exercise mode. Other key features include: industry-leading GPS, improved heart rate technology, new sensor technology, motivation through music, make payments using Fitbit Pay, and smart notifications.

You can enhance it even further with the Fitbit Flyer (P6,790) and Fitbit Aria 2 Wi-Fi Smart Scale (P7,690). The Flyer wireless headphones is a standalone product but is fully compatible with the Ionic. It features a durable sweat-proof design and customization fit with an advanced sound performance for listening to music seamlessly from Ionic. You can also get audio coaching from the Fitbit Coach smartphone app or staying in touch on the go.

Meanwhile, the best way to track your progress is with the Aria. It’s just like your weighing scale at home but better because it helps you track and understand your body composition including weight, body fat percentage, lean mass, and BMI. You can easily sync all these data with the Fitbit app.

Fitbit Ionic is available at Digital Walker, Beyond the Box, iBook, Timeline, The Inboxstore, iLiberty, Globe Telecom, Proton, Mobile 1, Banana Telecom, iCenter Cebu, Ambassador, Abenson, and online at Lazada, Zalora, and ShopLite
