The results of the 2017 bar examinations will be released on April 26, 2018 in Manila by the Supreme Court (SC), which is now in Baguio City for its summer sessions.
The full text of the SC announcement is as follows:
“The results of the 2017 Bar Examinations will be released on April 26, 2018 in Manila.
“The Court will meet in a special en banc session to deliberate on the results. After which, the 2017 Bar Exams Committee Chair Justice Lucas P. Bersamin will officially announce the results.
”Names of successful examinees will be flashed on screen at the SC quadrangle (on Padre Faura St., Ermita, Manila) and will also be posted to the SC website.”
A total of 7,227 law graduates all over the country were admitted to take the bar examinations held on four Sundays last November at the University of Santo Tomas (UST) in Manila.
The number of examinees in 2017 was higher than those in 2015 and 2016 with 6,605 and 6,344 examinees, respectively.
A total of 3,747 examinees passed the 2016 bar examinations which was chaired by Justice Presbitero J. Velasco Jr.
In 2015, a total of 1,731 examinees passed the tests.
