The northeast monsoon affecting Luzon and the easterlies affecting eastern Visayas will bring scattered rains over parts of the archipelago on Sunday, state weather agency Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

The easterlies will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Caraga, northern Mindanao, central and eastern Visayas.
Meanwhile, the northeast monsoon will also bring cloudy skies with scattered rains over Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Bicol, Aurora and Quezon, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Ilocos and the rest of central Luzon.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, strong to gale force winds will prevail over Northern and Central Luzon, and the eastern part of Southern Luzon. Coastal waters along these areas will be rough to very rough.
Moderate to strong winds will blow over Visayas, eastern part of Mindanao and the rest of Luzon.
Coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough.
Light to moderate winds will prevail over the rest of Mindanao with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said. (PNA)
