Cop nabbed in casino

A police officer assigned at Camp Crame was arrested while playing inside a casino hotel in Paranaque City, Tuesday night.

National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Director, Oscar Albayalde, said that Supt. Adrian Antonio, administrative officer of the Directorate for Operations at the Philippine National Police (PNP) headquarters in Camp Crame was arrested at about 10:55 p.m. inside City of Dreams in Paranaque City.

Recovered from Antonio were P600,000 worth of casino chips.

Supt. Jenny Tecson, Southern Police District (SPD) spokesperson, said that Antonio is now under restricted custody will be charged with violation of Presidential Decrees 1067-B and 1869, which prohibits government officials, members of the uniformed services, students and minors from playing in casinos.
