In his column for Mashable Asia, Keith Wagstaff wrote that Space X just got permission to operate 4,425 satellites from space.

Up to now, the Internet, still heavily relies on having lots and lots of cable connections that are positioned in key areas, some even on the ocean floor to provide service to Netizens who now live, eat and breathe the internet.

This development would be a complete game changer as it is expected to improve the quality of service even in rural areas all across the globe.

Before you change ISP provider though or get your hopes up, know that this grand project is still on its infant stage and Mashable has learned that Space X has only recently just launched two demo satellites.

But still, this would be a step in the right direction.

Like the landing on the moon, it’s one step for Space X, one giant leap for Netizen-kind.
