Ateneo guns for its third straight win even as National University seeks to end a two-game losing skid when they take on separate foes today in UAAP women's volleyball at The Arena in San Juan City.
The Lady Eagles eye their seventh win in 10 outings in their 2 p.m. confrontation with the University of the East Lady Warriors, while the Lady Bulldogs hope to check a skid that put them at 6-3 when they face the Adamson Lady Falcons at 4 p.m.
Ateneo appears to be peaking at the right time following convincing victories over Far Eastern University and NU.
Tied at second with the Lady Bulldogs, another win for the Lady Eagles will inch them closer to pacesetter and defending champion La Salle Lady Spikers, who tote an 8-2 mark.
Meanwhile, NU aches to get back on track after absorbing back-to-back losses to La Salle and Ateneo.
Adamson, for its part, aims to ride on the momentum of its recent win over UE that improved its tally to 4-5.
