Ivory Wood, DMCI Homes’ mid-rise development in Acacia Estates, Taguig City recently welcomed its first batch of unit owners with the turnover of its Anahaw building early 2018.

The six-story residential building was made available for turnover to unit owners in January, four months ahead of the original May 2018 committed ready for occupancy (RFO) schedule.

Located in Acacia Estates, the developer’s township in Taguig City, the Filipino-Spanish architecture themed development is composed of seven mid-rise buildings with resort-like amenities and community facilities.

Launched in 2015, Ivory Wood caters to start-up families and professionals for a secure and relaxed living environment and away from the hustle and bustle of city living.

One of the first homebuyers to accept the keys to their units was Engr. Arlan Ocampo, a lead cabin programs engineer in an airline based in Hong Kong.

Having in mind the comfort and convenience of condo-living, Ocampo said he thought of Ivory Wood as an ideal place to stay for his parents-in-law.

“We have everything here – 24/7 security and all the amenities. There are also elevators for easy mobility. So it’s very convenient for my in-laws,” the 40-year-old father of two said.

With a Filipino-Spanish architecture encouraging a resort-like lifestyle, residents can indulge in a chic and classic metropolitan retreat with first-rate amenities that include a grand clubhouse, lush gardens, kiddie pool, lap pool, picnic grove, children’s playground, fitness gym, audio-visual room, jogging path and basketball court.

Another factor which convinced him to buy a unit, Ocampo shared, is the development’s proximity to commercial centers, medical institutions, schools, the airport and other places of interest.

“My two kids go to school in Makati. So actually that is another factor why we bought a unit here. They can stay here instead of traveling every day from our house in Taytay,” Ocampo related.

Nestled within DMCI Homes’ 150-hectare township in Taguig, Ivory Wood is just minutes away from Bonifacio Global City, Makati Central Business District, and Ortigas via C-5 Road.

“My youngest loves to swim. I’m sure he’ll love the amenities. We can spend our weekends here,” Ocampo shared.  “Overall, I’m happy with my purchase because they have exceeded my expectations.”

More units will be made available for turnover when Palmira and Lauan buildings mark RFO status in April and July respectively.
