In the video, the dog kept on barking and seemed uneasy.

The way the dog was transported received a lot of criticism from netizens.

According to Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), it was clear that the said incident violated the the mandate of Animal Welfare Act.

“Napansin ko una wala siyang access sa tubig. So pangalawa, under the heat of the sun siya during the travel (First, I noticed that the dog has no access to water. Second, the dog was under the heat of the sun while travelling,)” Sharon Yap from PAWS said in an interview on GMA News.

The dog may have also suffered heat stroke and suffocation according to Yap.

“Mahal yung crate pero ilagay din natin yung sarili natin sa kalalagyan nila kung komportable ka ba na magbabyahe ka ng 3-4 hours na nandun ka sa ganung sitwasyon (The crate is quite expensive but we should also put ourselves in the dog’s position and if it’s comfortable to travel 3-4 hours in that situation,)” she added.
