Retail magnate Henry Sy Sr. is still the richest Filipino, according to Forbes Magazine, with a net worth of $20 billion.
Overall, the mall tycoon ranked 52nd in Forbes’ 32nd annual ranking of the World’s Billionaires, higher than his rank last year which is at 94.
Following Sy in the list is JG Summit founder, John Gokongwei Jr. with a total net worth of $5.8 billion, placing 305th worldwide, followed by International Container Terminal Services Chairman Enrique Razon Jr. at No. 404 with a total net worth of $4.9 billion.
Other Filipino billionaires who made it to the roll were Lucio Tan (No. 441, $4.7 billion), Tony Tan Caktiong (No. 550, $4 billion), George Ty (No. 572, $3.9 billion), Manuel Villar (No. 791, $3 billion), Andrew Tan (No. 887, $2.7 billion), Ramon Ang (No. 965, $2.5 billion), Robert Coyiuto, Jr. (No. 1650, $1.4 billion), , Eduardo Cojuangco (No. 1756, $1.3 billion), and Roberto Ongpin (No. 1999, $1.1 billion).
