More investments pouring into Concepcion, Tarlac

Concepcion, Tarlac – Major investments are pouring into this first class municipality, the latest being the largest PTT gasoline station in the country along the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) in Barangay San Vicente.

Jay Julian, Public Relations officer of Thailand-based PTT, said the gas station sits on sprawling 20,000 square meter property with a programmed investment of at least P200 million.

The PTT gasoline station will have a commercial complex with fast food chains, including  Café Amazon and retail outlets.

The innauguration was graced by Mayor Andy Lacson, Tarlac Governor Susan Yap-Sulit, and Thailand’s ambassador to the Philippines Thanatip Upatising, PTT Philippines president and CEO Sukanya Seriyothin and other PTT executives.

Recently, Solar Philippines started construction of the P11.3 billion solar power farm, also the biggest in the country, in a 150 hectare property in  Barangay Sta. Rosa which, when completed, will produce 175 megawatts of clean, renewable energy.

Bounty Fresh Corp.’s biggest chicken dressing plant in Barangay San Jose is also nearing completion.

A multinational company is also set to build a P12 billion steel plant on a 110 - hectare property in Barangay Telebanca.

SM’s Save More Supermarket, Pure Gold Supermarket and Walter Mart Mall, along with 24 banks and branches have also set up shop here.
