Naval, Biliran — Biliran Rep. Rogelio J. Espina is asking the help of President Duterte in the immediate release of funds for repairing government infrastructure damaged by Typhoon Urduja last December.

The storm devastated the island-province and left 42 people dead and 14 missing.

Espina said the funds are needed to fix damaged roads, bridges, school buildings, and other government infrastructures.

He said the national government also has to earmark funds for flood control and the rechanneling of rivers in the province.
