Easterlies to affect eastern section of PH

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the easterlies continue to affect the eastern section of the country today.

State weather specialists said the regions of Cagayan Valley, Bicol, Eastern and Central Visayas, Northern Mindanao, Davao and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the easterlies.

PAGASA warned concerned residents to stay alert and be prepared for the possibility of flash floods or landslides due to light to moderate with at times heavy rains.

In Metro Manila and the rest of the country, PAGASA said there will be partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thuderstorms.

Residents were also warned against possible flash floods or landslides due to light to moderate with at times heavy rains.

Coastal water conditions in northern and eastern section of Luzon and the eastern section of the Visayas and of Mindanao will be moderate to occasionally rough while the waters in rest of the country will have slight to moderate.
