Life is really bright for larger than life Rene Puno. Recently, the birthday celebrator hosted a dinner at his residence, which gathered friends, relatives, clients, and personal associates who came prepared for an evening of divine food, fun, and music.

Rene’s good nature and hearty laughter, plus his being a committed father, make him well-loved. What better way to lighten things up than with music and dance. After-dinner performances were musical numbers from Consul Fortune Ledesma, Dr. Nik Lombos, Eimee Cragun, Bebot Laurel, George Sarakinis, and Ricky Davao. In the past, Rene had made music his main focus, as he was a member of the New Minstrels, and this earned heavy praises then; and to this day, friends always ask him to sing. His catchy tunes stirred up the party people, among them Israeli Ambassador Effie Ben Matityau and his wife Lizia Lu, Joseph and Nel Calata, Vicky Zubiri, George Sison, among others.
All night dancing capped Rene’s unforgettable dinner. His sweet and loving wife Ann had the party catered by Neil’s Kitchen. The menu included baked fish, stuffed turkey, a grilling station for juicy steaks, and a variety of other party favorites. Eva Gullas, publisher of Zee Lifestyle, sent two Cebu lechons. Foodies savored Ann’s famous sweet bites, among them, the cassava cake and Chocnut cake. Rene is managing partner of Zulueta, Puno, and Associates.
