(LISTEN) Emma Watson sings in ‘Beauty and the Beast’

She used to be a wunderkind in the magical world of Harry Potter, and now as Emma Watson is set to return to the big screen as Belle in “Beauty and the Beast” remake, a snippet of how she would sound musically in the film emerged.

On New Year’s Eve, Disney gave fans of the princess tale a beautiful gift as it released a musical snippet of Watson singing “Something There” from the forthcoming live-action remake.

The clip plays Watson singing the lines: “True that he’s no Prince Charming / But there’s something in him that I simply didn't see.”

The film’s producer, Jack Morrissey, also posted two versions of the audio clip in his Instagram.

The first audio clip was recorded from a singing Belle doll.

“Something There” is one of the original soundtracks from the 1991 Disney film.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, composer Alan Menken revealed that he penned new songs for the movie like “For Evermore,” “Our Song Lives On” and “Days in the Sun.”

Watson will star in “Beauty and the Beast” alongside Dan Stevens (Beast), and Luke Evans (Gaston). The film directed by  Bill Condon (The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn) will be shown in cinemas on March 17.
