Katchry rendered an excellent and heart-warming rendition of Michael Legrand’s “Les Moulins de Mon Coeur” (The Windmills of Your Mind),” which impressed judges Eric Anthony, Helene Segara, Gilbert Rozon and Kamel Ouali during the semi-finals on Tuesday night.

The judges noted how Katchry’s performance touched their hearts. Helene also told Katchry that she can meet Legrand.

The Iloilo-born singer, who learned French three years ago by studying it with her friends online, looked ecstatic upon hearing the judges’ positive comments.

Katchry took to social media to thank everyone and asked for their continuous support. She will be competing against Nathan, Saulo Sarmiento, Kenny Thomas, Mario Espanol, Leah, Gator, Barcode Trio, Antonio, Jessie and Vivien and the French Twins.

“And now, I’m in the final! I never thought I’d be selected amongst all these talented people. I need your support for the last step,” Katchry posted on Facebook.

For making her dreams come true, Alienette thanked the talent reality show for giving her a chance to “live the greatest adventure” of her life.

“I would like to thank the team of “France has an amazing talent” for allowing me to live the greatest adventure of my life! I live a dream awake,” she said.

Katchry needs support from the audiences by voting for her in the grand finals on Dec. 13.

“Please let that dream it is to continue! Thank you to all and to all! I told you: I see you soon,” she said.

Prior “France Got Talent,” Katchry has already tried her luck on GMA-7’s talent search show “Pinoy Idol” but failed to make it to the finals in 2008. One of the show’s judges, Ogie Alcasid, shared in November how he has always believed in Katchry’s talent. He encouraged Katchry to join other talent shows and finally got her break in “France Got Talent.” Filipino-French Solenn Heussaff also helped Katchry for making her trip to France possible.

“Praise God! Alienette made it to the finals! Let’s all pray for her,” Ogie tweeted on Tuesday.

Many netizens also gave her encouraging words and praised Katchry for bringing pride to the country.
