Kapuso stars Geoff, Heart and Sheena talk about life, career, lessons

MANILA, Philippines – With his GMA-7 contract ending soon, Geoff Eigenmann bluntly revealed that there are offers for him from other networks.
"In all honesty, hindi pa kami nagkakausap ni Perry [Lansigan, his manager]. Pero ang alam 'ko, meron nang nangyayari, meron nang pinag-uusapan.
“There's an offer. I'm not sure from who, but there is,” said the actor in an article posted on PEP, Wednesday.
Even though he’s currently in the dark about the details of the offer, Geoff entrusts his career’s direction to his manager.
"Sabi naman niya [Perry], I have nothing to worry about,” he began.
Then the 26-year-old continued, "Kasi si Perry, alam n'yo naman na hindi sinasabi sa mga alaga niya ang lahat ng detalye hangga't hindi pa siya 100 percent, or even 95 percent sure.
"So, gusto niya ganoon kasigurado bago namin malaman,” said he.
Geoff is currently part of the upcoming Kapuso primetime teleserye “Legacy” where he’s reuniting with actress Heart Evangelista, with whom he got to work last while they were still both with ABS-CBN in a soap titled "Hiram."
First encounter
Speaking of Heart, in a separate interview, the actress revealed that she recently bumped into Kapuso gem Marian Rivera, with whom she formerly had a rift.
As if keeping her word from what she said in a previous interview that she would say "hi," Heart narrated that she “did her part” during the encounter.
"Nagkasalubong kami [ni Marian] ng isang beses. I bowed my head and I smiled. I respect if she's not ready. Hayaan na lang natin...At least nagawa ‘ko ang part ‘ko," related Heart.
Recall that June last year there’s been an alleged confrontation between Marian and Heart’s mother, Cecile Ongpauco, at the Manila airport several days after the cast of “Temptation Island” got back from filming in Ilocos Norte. This resulted in a rift between the former co-stars.
In July, though, the two stars have reportedly buried the hatchet. Because of that, Heart noted that her biggest realization for 2011 is to “be humble.”
"Keep your head down no matter what. Just try your best not to step on anybody.
"Just remain humble even though you're trying to fight for what is right. Don't be too aggressive,” she said pensively in the PEP report.
Of lessons and investments
Meanwhile, Marian’s GMA epicserye, “Amaya,” is bound to end on Friday. One of her co-stars, Sheena Halili, waxed emotional as she revealed the lessons she learned from the former.
"Mami-miss 'ko 'yung mga payo ni Marian. Si Marian kasi, ang galing mag-advice niyan, 'eh, tsaka si Direk Mac [Alejandre],” said the 25-year-old actress in another PEP report.
According to her, it was Marian who suggested that she start investing her earnings as early as now.
"Hindi importante kung ano ako ngayon, ang importante kung ano magiging ako in the future," she explained as if quoting Marian herself.
When asked as to what she would invest in, Sheena preferred to keep it under wraps for the time being.
"Siguro kapag sure na sure na, iyon, dun ‘ko na lang siguro sasabihin.
"Pero may plano na ako, na isa siya [Marian] sa nag-encourage sa akin tsaka sila Kuya Popoy [Caritativo], ‘yung manager niya,” shared she.
