Penthouse with a grand view
MANILA, Philippines — Property developer Shang Properties, Inc. offers another lavish urban space with a view of the heart of Ortigas. Windows to that panorama will be in the penthouse units of the two towers of St. Francis Shangri-La Place located at the corner of St. Francis Street and Internal Avenue in Mandaluyong.
The 61-story residential buildings of Tower I and Tower II have eight tri-level penthouse units, ready for occupancy. Each penthouse has floor space of 510 to 650 sqm. The lower level on the 59th floor is for a living, dining, and kitchen areas; the bedrooms are on the 60th floor, and a private infinity pool and sky deck on the 61st floor.
The 212-meter high landmark is one of the tallest buildings in the vicinity, highlighted by the floor-to-ceiling glass walls in the penthouse units – to open an unobstructed view of the cityscape. The place is also situated near lifestyle destinations such as Shangri-la Plaza mall, Edsa Shangri-La Hotel, SM Megamall, Starmall and St. Francis Square.
Vicente Formoso, VP for Finance of Shang Properties, Inc., said the penthouses were designed with their ideal owner in mind – a successful individual, well-traveled, with a keen appreciation of diverse cultures, fine dining, and casual luxury. The penthouse unit is priced from P80 million to P106 million.
The press conference to launch the opening of the units also included a tour of the penthouse showroom designed by Manny Samson and Associates.
A capiz shell chandelier hangs in the living room, which fuses the casual modernism of the floor-to-ceiling glass walls offering amazing cityscape views of the metro.
The dining area has a 5.1-meter cascading crystal chandelier that highlights the dramatic double volume ceiling. The modern kitchen features quartz countertops and floor-to-ceiling sliding doors of tinted glass and polished steel divide the kitchen from the dining room.
The master’s bedroom has wide windows to provide natural light. And at the 61st floor, a tropical sky garden with its own private infinity pool offers an elegant private space to watch the city go to sleep.
“The showroom exudes the convergence of space and style using indigenous textures and key pieces to enhance the unit,” Formoso said.
