Derek is the first local celeb to unveil his holiday plans

MANILA, Philippines – With Christmas just around the corner, back-to-back box office actor Derek Ramsay shares his family will be up for a “crazy” Christmas road trip.

Even though he related that a new project has been offered to him, the “Praybeyt Benjamin” star reiterated that, for now, he’s more focused in gearing up for his upcoming holiday trip.

"I've been offered to do a movie with Bea Alonzo. Ang ganda ng istorya. But nothing concrete yet. Wala pa.

"Right now, my mind is set on Christmas and spending time with my family," said the “No Other Woman” lead actor in an article by PEP posted on Nov. 15.

The hunk actor excitedly shared that he’ll be off to Marinduque with his family and long-time girlfriend, Angelica Panganiban.

"Yeah, Angel is coming,” he quipped.

Derek related that their Christmas plan is almost ironed out, which will begin in their family home in Tagaytay.

"We're gonna spend actual Christmas day sa Tagaytay. Pagkatapos nun, we're taking a road trip to Marinduque. Just after the Christmas ‘til the New Year," said he.

According to him, they will stay in Marinduque for eight days.

"So, it's gonna be island fever while we're there," the Fil-Brit said, laughing.

Derek attributed the road trip idea to the Ramsay patriarch. "My dad came up with this crazy idea of driving through Marinduque,” he started.

“Because we want to stay there, eight to ten days. He doesn't want us to get bored. So, he wants us to drive around. There's gonna be twenty-seven of us! And we're taking five cars! Magro-RORO kami.

"It's gonna be fun!" he exclaimed.
