A total of 70 aspirants have already signed up for the Rookie Camp the Philippine Basketball League (PBL) will be holding on January 10 at the Jose Rizal University gym.

Leading the list are La Salle’s Hyram Bagatsing and Nikko Hubalde of Emilio Aguinado College. The six-hour activity starts at 8 a.m.

The number of participants is expected to double comes the rookie camp.

However, only 25 years old and below come November 7, 2009 will be allowed to join the Rookie Draft also slated this month.

PBL Executive Director Butch Maniego also advised the participants to bring a two-set of jerseys – dark and light – during the Rookie Camp.
