Iza replaces Sunshine on ‘StarStruck’
After being replaced by Nadine Samonte on “Tinik Sa Dibdib,” Sunshine Dizon’s slot as judge on “StarStruck V” has been taken over by actress Iza Calzado as well.
Iza pleaded for the public to stop feasting on her professional rivalry with Sunshine.
“Sa'kin naman trabaho lang 'to. Hindi ko naman kinuha 'yong project. Basta ako wala akong sinasagasaang tao,” Iza said.
Dawn Zulueta face-to-face with her ex’s wife
Actress Dawn Zulueta admitted during her guest appearance on QTV’s “The Sweet Life” that she was rendered speechless with Lucy Torres’ compliment that if she were to become an actress, she would like to model herself after Dawn.
“That first statement made me speechless. Kaya paglabas ko [onstage], hindi ko alam kung paano ako maghe-hello. I was so pleasantly surprised. It’s such a wonderful compliment when a woman as beautiful as her will say something like that,” said Dawn.
She is all praises for Lucy and Richard Gomez’s (Dawn’s ex-boyfriend) marriage.
“They make a wonderful combination, in terms of character, even in their chosen fields. They bring out the best in each other. And they have a great family life, too,” lauds Dawn who herself is in bliss being currently pregnant with her second child.

Kapuso actress Angelika dela Cruz feels excited for her forthcoming church wedding in Tagaytay with non-showbiz boyfriend Orion Casereo.

Pia Guanio to marry ‘when the time is right’
TV host Pia Guanio was caught in an “Intriga Crossfire” during her birthday celebration on “Showbiz Central” in which her own father, Atty. Val Guanio, quizzed her on her wedding plans.
“When the time is right [I will marry]. Hindi ko itatago,” she said.
Pia was further taken aback when her father asked when she will give him a grandson.
“Grandson? Teka lang! These are all very big demands and orders,” she yelled back, goodnaturedly.
Her boyfriend of four years, TV host-actor Vic Sotto, recently took her to South Africa as a birthday gift.
“I’m glad that we had that experience together. Mahilig din kasi siya sa mga hayop,” she related.
