Five Bataan towns will be without electricity on May 9 to pave the way for their preventive maintenance.

Ernest Vidal, communications lead specialist of the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines, said affected towns are Orion, Pilar, Limay, Bagac, and Morong.
These towns will experience power interruption from 9 to 11 in the morning, said Vidal.
Originally, the brownout was scheduled on May 8, for maintenance activity in parts of Bataan.
However, the scheduled outage affecting parts of PENELCO franchise areas has been rescheduled to Tuesday-Wednesday to accommodate the request of Orion, Bataan in celebration of its town fiesta, Vidal added.
