The poll official said she got herself tested for COVID-19 on Thursday.
"I am coughing and came in contact with a person who tested positive," Guanzon said in an interview.
Based on the existing guidelines of the Department of Health (DOH), PUIs with mild symptoms but are elderly and immune-compromised are required to get tested for COVID-19.
The 62-year old Guanzon said she will be on home quarantine for another 14 days.
She said she has been on self-quarantine since she arrived in Bacolod last March 14.
"Now I will wear a mask inside the house and will not eat with my family. (I will) isolate (myself)," Guanzon said.
The poll official is still awaiting the result of her test.
