A cultural youth organization calling itself Panday Sining has apologized for vandalizing the Laguslinad underpass and expressed willingness to talk to Manila Mayor Isko Moreno.

"To the public: sorry for the inconvenience" it said in a statement posted on Facebook Tuesday night.
Laguslinad underpass was painted with red phrases like “PRESYO, IBABA! SAHOD, ITAAS! – PS” ; “DIGMAANG BAYAN SAGOT SA MARTIAL LAW – PS” at “ATIN ANG PINAS! US-CHINA LAYAS! – PS”.
Mayor Isko shared photos of the newly-painted and cleaned Lawton underpass and Laguslinad underpass last week.
Panday Sining said it is “very much willing to talk with Mayor Isko Moreno about the matter as he shares the same sentiment about wanting just and lasting peace."
It said they conducted the “graffiesta” as a response to the worsening economic and political state of the country.
“The purpose of our protest art isn't to spite the citizens of Manila but to sound the alarm against these injustices.” it said.
