MB Daily News Update: BBM was right to decline debates – Duterte

President Duterte agreed with the decision of the camp of incoming President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. not to accept invitations to debates during the campaign, saying that it would have been a waste of time for the former senator who would have spent hours to attend the event, only to be allowed to speak for a few minutes.

Not a few tears were shed when Vice President Leni Robredo bade farewell to her staff at the Quezon City Reception House, where she held office for six years, at their last General Assembly together on Monday, June 27, 2022.

Private school owners, who are still recovering from the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on their enrolment, asked help from the government so that they could cope with the contributions being sought by the Social Security System (SSS) for their personnel, including their teachers.
