Vice President Leni Robredo, who was earlier reported to lead the opposition against the administration, was joined by her daughters Jillian, Tricia, and Aika at the mass presided by Bishop Broderick Pabillo which is also co-celebrated by Bishop Ambo David.
Senators Bam Aquino and Risa Hontiveros from the Liberal Party ticket also attended to support the protest.
Hontiveros who admittedly has second thoughts in attending the SONA tomorrow, also said that she is afraid President Duterte may not tell the real situation of the country, including the extra judicial killings, Philippine’s sovereignty on the issues of maritime rights, Constitutional Assembly, the proposed Federal Constitution, and the No-Elections Scenario in 2019.
Father Robert Reyes, Atty. Aleta Tolentino and Australian nun Sister Patricia Fox attended the mass.
