Every guy has a dream girl – a woman who is gorgeous inside as she is outside. Beautiful and talented Niña Jose fits that description perfectly. The former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate-turned-model/actress continues to blaze trails as she stars in one noteworthy project after another. Her latest film, “I Love Dreamguyz,” is a testament to Niña’s continuous progress to being one of today’s most dependable, most watch-able young actresses.

After being nominated by Star Awards as New Movie Actress of the Year in her brilliant performance in “Shake, Rattle & Roll 10,” Niña is featured in “I Love Dreamguyz,” her first full length independent film. Here, she plays the character of Jenny, the supportive and understanding live-in girlfriend of Jake (played by Jay L Dizon). Well-off Jenny defies her parents’ wishes and follows the dictates of her heart. Niña shares passionate kisses and provocative love scenes with Jay L. This is definitely her most daring to date.

Niña’s previous film, “Desperadas 2,” wherein she played the flirty nurse that came between the married characters portrayed by Iza Calzado and TJ Trinidad, helped Niña make the transition from teenybopper to sexy. It also initiated her into the high standards expected by award-winning Joel Lamangan who is also at the helm of “I Love Dreamguyz.”

“Noong nalaman kong kasama si Niña sa ‘Dreamguyz,’ natuwa ako kasi alam na niya ang estilo ko sa pagtatrabaho,” says Direk Joel. “Marunong siyang makinig. She is very teachable. Truly star material!”

Niña admits that she was very challenged and nervous, especially in doing the steamy love scenes. “But I just let myself go with the character and after that, tuloy-tuloy na. Na-feel ko ang naramdaman ni Jenny. Of course, I completely trusted Direk Joel Lamangan. I followed his instructions. I have Direk Joel and especially my manager Direk Manny Valera to thank for helping me grow as an actress.”

Her openness has led to bigger roles and wonderful projects like the daily afternoon drama series “Nagsimula sa Puso” on ABS-CBN and Regal Entertainment’s Metro Manila Film Fest entry “Mano Po 6” wherein she plays the secret lover of Dennis Trillo’s character. True to her dedication to the role, Niña willingly did the love scenes required of her in “Mano Po 6.”
