Missing UP lawyer’s fraternity offers P100,000 for info


The fraternity of the missing University of the Philippines (UP) law professor is offering a cash reward in exchange for the information on the whereabouts of its member.

Alpha Phi Beta Fraternity said it will give P100,000 for anyone who can provide them “credible information that will help” them find missing lawyer Ryan Oliva.

“In order to aid in the search, the fraternity is willing to give a reward of P100,000 to any person who can provide credible information that will help us find Atty. Oliva,” it said in a Facebook post Monday.

“Should anyone have any information, please call or message 0921-280-1941 or 0917-589-2732. You can also send an email to [email protected],” it added.

The fraternity said it is joining Oliva’s family in praying for the safe return of Oliva.

“The Alpha Phi Beta Fraternity is appealing for help to anyone who has any information about the whereabouts of FLC Ryan P. Oliva AΦB 2002G,” it said.

Oliva, who is also the chief of the Legislative Liaison Unit of the Department of Tourism, has been missing since November 21 after reportedly leaving their family home in Quezon City.

According to authorities, he was last seen in Nasugbu, Batangas at around 5 p.m. the following day, November 22.

His belongings, including his bag with several identification and ATM cards, were found by a construction worker on Friday along the seashore of Barangay Balikyas in Looc town, Occidental Mindoro, police said.
